Hey, I'm Sarah, the face behind Inklivity.

Sarah Shaw

I love helping people navigate complexity.

Complex ideas. Complex messages. Complex creative problems. I’m energized by it—all of it.

If that sounds a little crazy, I have a long track record of being drawn to the complex. My first dream job was to become a storm chaser. Yes, as in tornado hunting with all my meteorologist gadgets and gizmos, true Twisters style.

But here we are, exercising this same fascination with complexity in a more creative sphere.

I know from personal experience what it’s like to navigate a confusing relationship with creativity. Using the left-brain/right-brain shorthand, I’m an even split. That balance has often left me feeling “too strategic” to be considered creative in the art world, and a little too artsy for the business world. Add in my background working in the mental health field, and, well, it’s been a journey. To say the least.

Along the way, as I’ve navigated career shifts and my evolving relationship with creativity, I’ve realized I’m not alone.

Lots of us are sorting through career changes, job transitions, and industry pivots. We’re carrying the invisible weight of generating new ideas, solving complex problems, and doing so without support, or within environments that quietly choke out the imagination required to solve them. Add AI to the mix, and suddenly it’s the perfect recipe for a tornado. I mean… chaos.

I designed Inklivity to be a spot for where you can sort through your ideas, pivots, and creative challenges with support. Because, spoken from personal experience, there's nothing more disheartening than fighting a battle alone.

Let's work together.
